Anna Barr covers the basics for sketching, ink and watercolours.

If you have ever wanted to get into urban sketching, here’s your chance to get started. Using just ink and wash, we will guide you in how to sketch your favourite places and experiences. Sketches are quick, make a great personal record and you’ll be amazed at how fast you will pick up this skill!

• Pen  Waterproof pigment pen 0.4 or 0.5 Unipen 
• Paints  Watercolours - a small palette Winsor + Newton or Jasart set
• Brush Round size 8 or 10 
• Paper  Watercolour sketch pad A5 size, medium cold-pressed, 200gsm+

Classes cost $65 per session and are held in the eastern suburbs.
